Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead data center delivery from design through construction. You will coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget performance.

You’ll manage complex MEP systems, review contracts, and drive constructability reviews and value engineering for mission-critical environments. Travel to project sites is expected as needed, with flexible work locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a data center or critical environment.
• Experience managing full project lifecycle delivery.
• Experience working with complex MEP systems and critical infrastructure.
• Ability to travel or relocate to project locations.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.
• Ability to effectively lead a diverse team of professionals inside a dynamic team environment while also being capable of taking initiative when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards.
• Experience with or coordination of project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera or other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• You’ll act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders across data center construction projects.
• You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center clients.
• You’ll lead client meetings, reporting, and overall communication strategy throughout project lifecycles.
• You’ll manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes for complex data center builds.
• You’ll review and approve subcontractor contracts, change orders, and pay applications.
• You’ll identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure strong commercial performance.
• You’ll support estimating, procurement, and bid strategy for data center construction opportunities.
• You’ll lead constructability reviews and value engineering initiatives specific to mission‑critical environments.
• You’ll ensure alignment between design, scope, and execution strategy for data center delivery.
• You’ll oversee project schedules, identify delivery risks, and drive accountability across internal teams and subcontractors.
• Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
