Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Center Repair Technician to join our infrastructure engineering team. This role focuses on the physical repair and maintenance of data center hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and related components.

The position requires local travel to multiple sites to support data center operations. Responsibilities include repairs, lifecycle management, routine inspections, spare parts inventory, and collaboration with technical teams to minimize

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in electronics or computer hardware.
• Proven repair and maintenance experience on IT hardware in data centers.
• Familiarity with Cisco/Juniper/Arista gear and x86 servers is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs and replacement of defective hardware components in data center equipment.
• Manage lifecycle of hardware from installation to decommissioning and recycling.
• Conduct physical inspections and routine maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and availability for repairs and upgrades.
• Coordinate replacement activities with technical teams to minimize downtime.
• Document repair activities and maintain maintenance logs and configurations.
• Execute basic physical layer troubleshooting, including cable and port testing.
• Support new hardware installations and the physical setup of network/server infra.
• Participate in emergency response teams for urgent hardware issues.
