Job summary

Allstates Consulting Services is seeking experienced lead-level Field Technicians and Supervisors to perform structured fiber circuit audits across active data center environments. This is a hands-on, high-volume role requiring precision, technical discipline, and the ability to troubleshoot contaminated fiber circuits on the first attempt.

This is not an entry-level position. Pay is $18/hr taxable + $22/hr per-diem ($40/hr total).

Qualifications

• Fiber optic cabling experience in data centers.
• 3+ years hands-on fiber work in restricted facilities.
• Experience with LC, MPO/MTP, and SC connectors.
• Able to describe scope, volume and outcomes of audits.
• Distinguish contaminated end-face from fiber damage without guidance.
• Proficient with one-click cleaners, cassette cleaners and reel-cleaners.
• Understanding of wet vs dry cleaning methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured fiber circuit audits across active data center environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve contaminated fiber circuits on the first attempt.
• Inspect MPO end-faces across all positions and interpret results accurately.
• Operate an optical power meter and light source and walk through full test procedures.
