PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our global client to source and hire for this direct hire Data Center Supervisor opportunity. Candidates must be located in the United States.

This is a full-time, direct hire role with approximately 33% travel.

Lead cutting-edge fiber projects in dynamic data center environments!

We are seeking a hands‑on Data Center Supervisor to lead a field crew while performing fiber installation and splicing. This role involves planning and coordinating daily site activities, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards, and reporting progress to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of fiber technicians in installing data cabinets, racks, and optical distribution frames (ODF).
• Plan and oversee installation of pathway support systems (basket trays, ladder racks, cable managers).
• Supervise fiber pulling, porting, labeling, and step in for hands‑on installation as needed.
• Perform and oversee fiber splicing (single mode and multimode), including high‑count cables.
• Establish and execute test plans using OTDR, OLTS, power meters, and inspection scopes.
• Review and approve test results and documentation for customer handover.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, FOA, ITU‑T, NEC, OSHA).
• Coordinate site logistics and provide regular status updates to management.

Qualifications:

• Extensive hands‑on experience in fiber‑optic splicing, testing, and installation.
• Proven supervisory experience on data center or telecom infrastructure projects.

Certifications (Preferred):

• FOA CFOT / CFOS
• BICSI Technician or higher (e.g., RCDD)

Additional Skills:

• Experience in hyperscale or enterprise data centers is a plus.
