Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Facility Operations leader to ensure 100% uptime for our data center facilities.

The role focuses on driving operational processes, developing SOPs/MOPs, and delivering reliable space, power, and network services for customers. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data center facility management, strong communication and presentation skills, and experience with power, HVAC, and environmental safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of facility operations and management experience in the data center industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong skills in presentation and proposal design.
• Familiar with UPS, generators, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred; or equivalent training, education and experience.
• Data center industry experience preferred.
• Strong supervisory responsibilities.
• Familiar with ISO 9000/14000 and OHSAS 18000 standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive processes and procedures in the organization.
• Develop and review MOPs and SOPs.
• Ensure correct and on-time implementation of solutions for customer applications, including space, power, and network preparation.
• Prepare and present technical facility presentations.
• Manage all technical aspects of facility operations including power and HVAC systems.
• Produce monthly reporting and metrics.
• Provide technical support for customer integration and implementation of solutions.
• Handle facility issues to ensure 100% uptime.
