Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager for data center projects. You will lead all phases of electrical construction, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships on multi-million dollar builds.

The role requires 8+ years of electrical project management, data center experience, and the ability to travel to sites. A Journeyman or Master electrical license is preferred, with onsite work and strict adherence to NEC and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical construction project management experience on $20–$100M projects including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
• Data Center experience is required.
• Hyperscale Data Center experience preferred.
• Valid Electrical License at Journeyman or Master level preferred.
• Proficient in estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project tracking.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management in all phases of construction for one or more Data Center electrical projects and develop new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area.
• Manage projects to exceed customer expectations and ensure NEC and OSHA compliance and safety policies.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Represent company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations and strategy meetings.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while maintaining good client relationships.
• Lead the project team to ensure delivery meets client and IES expectations.
• Perform takeoffs, price changes orders and project quotes.
• Coordinate with Project Executive for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Work onsite at project locations.
