IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeks a Senior Electrical Project Manager for Data Center initiatives in Chester, VA.

This role leads electrical construction projects, ensures NEC and safety compliance, and drives financial performance while pursuing new business opportunities within the local market. The position requires Data Center experience, a related engineering degree preferred, and a strong track record in managing multi-million dollar projects with hyperscale data center

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $20-$100M including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
• Data Center experience is required.
• Hyperscale Data Center experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree engineering or construction management preferred
• Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for Data Center electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a Client group or geographical area.
• Manages projects to exceed customer expectations and ensures work adheres to NEC, safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and maintains good client relationships.
• Manages project team to ensure delivery meets client and company expectations.
• Performs takeoffs and price change orders and project-related quotes.
• Works with Project Executive to ensure accurate tracking and financial reporting.
