Job summary

Miller Electric Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for data center construction to lead client projects, manage budgets, schedules, teams, and safety.

This client-facing role reports to the Director and VP, requiring collaboration with vendors, subcontractors, and internal staff to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements; opportunities for growth, mentorship, and ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• 5+ years managing electrical project management for large IT/telecom data center projects.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Experience with data center electrical distribution and white space fit-out.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Generate estimates and review proposals.
• Set timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee project execution to meet design and budget.
• Coordinate with customers to align expectations.
• Manage staff and subcontractors; procure materials.
• Provide regular reports to senior management.
• Forecast financial direction and resource needs.
