Job summary

SSOE is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in data centers. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure project excellence and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities include leading key design projects, providing mentoring to staff, and engaging with clients. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a PE License, and extensive experience in electrical engineering.

This position offers a hybrid or fully remote work option with a competitive salary ranging from $130k to $170k per year.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• PE License with ability to register in additional states.
• At least 12 years of experience in electrical engineering facilities design.
• Experience in data center facilities design is required.
• Knowledge of NEC and IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as Electrical Subject Matter Expert on data center projects.
• Lead the planning and coordination of engineering projects.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff.
• Engage with clients and represent the firm at meetings.
• Prepare studies and technical specifications.
