Job summary

Entegee is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Lead for data center projects. You will lead onsite commissioning activities, oversee QA/QC, and coordinate with construction teams, design partners, vendors, and customers to ensure systems start and perform to design intent.

This role requires extensive travel (up to 95%), a strong background in electrical commissioning, NFPA/NETA/NICET standards, and certifications such as NFPA 70E and OSHA 10. Washington DC area candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of electrical commissioning experience on utility, power, and life-safety systems.
• 2–3+ years in data center commissioning with Level 2–5 testing leadership.
• Proficiency with NFPA, NETA, NICET standards and code requirements.
• US citizenship and ability to pass background check; willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite electrical commissioning for large-scale data center projects.
• Oversee QA/QC, startup, functional testing, and turnover of systems.
• Direct Level 4–5 commissioning while supporting Levels 0–3 activities.
• Develop and maintain commissioning docs, test records, and logs.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
