IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters. Reporting to the VP of Project Development and Delivery, the Senior Data Center Development Engineer will lead site origination, master planning, and front-end engineering to turn early opportunities into build-ready projects in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX.

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency with tools like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

• Lead site master planning and conceptual design for new data center campuses
• Drive front-end engineering to ensure designs are scalable, buildable, and operationally efficient
• Translate development opportunities into technically sound, execution-ready plans
• Partner across development, engineering, innovation, and construction teams
• Manage architectural and engineering consultants from concept through detailed design
• Ensure alignment with IREN’s design roadmap, codes, and regulatory requirements
• Support site due diligence, feasibility studies, and design standardization efforts
• Facilitate smooth handover from development to delivery
