Job summary

JLL is seeking a Controls SME for data centers in the Dallas area to design, program, and troubleshoot building automation and control systems that run critical data center infrastructure. The role covers HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and security interfaces in a 24/7 environment.

You will develop control graphics, alarms, and trending to ensure reliability. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BAS/industrial controls, proficiency across major platforms, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience with building automation systems and industrial controls.
• Proficiency with Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Siemens, or Trane platforms.
• Experience with control programming languages and configuration software.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and maintain BAS for HVAC and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot control faults, network issues, and sensor malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Monitor and optimize control sequences for chillers, AHUs, UPS, and environmental equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on control panels, field devices, and networks.
