Job summary

MXI Partners seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead large-scale data center construction projects. The role oversees field teams, safety, scheduling, quality and closeout, with heavy focus on coordination across MEP scopes and subcontractors.

Position requires 15+ years in construction and data center exposure, willingness to travel extensively, and readiness to work in North Dakota locations. Competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction experience.
• Currently operating as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Lead Superintendent or General Superintendent.
• 3+ years of data center construction management experience.
• Strong general construction and MEP experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, foremen and subcontractors on large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, Bluebeam and Procore, or equivalent software.
• Willing to work initially in Bismarck and/or Ellendale, North Dakota.
• Willing to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership across large-scale data center projects.
• Manage Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, foremen, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee site logistics, safety planning and mobilization.
• Lead daily huddles, work planning, site coordination and material deliveries.
• Manage project schedule with the Project Management team to maintain milestones.
• Coordinate general construction and complex MEP scopes.
• Support subcontractor selection, RFIs, procurement planning and tracking of materials, tools and equipment.
• Develop and implement the project-specific quality plan with QA/QC and PM teams.
• Oversee Procore activities and ensure documentation is accurate.
