The Data Center Infrastructure Construction team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure delivers state‑of‑the‑art data center facilities at scale and pace. Comprised of seasoned project managers, commissioning experts, and construction specialists, the team ensures the successful execution of complex data center construction projects. Their experience covers project management, technical design, and on‑site construction, supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s growing data needs.

Sr Data Center Construction Project Manager (IC4)

This high‑level individual contributor role provides expert oversight and technical leadership for data center construction performed by colocation providers. The incumbent ensures projects meet schedule, quality, and design requirements through hands‑on expertise, strategic coordination, and independent execution.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the base building and MEP infrastructure portions of the project.
• Lead and manage the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring timely, on‑budget completion with the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with colocation providers to meet milestones.
• Analyze projects independently to evaluate risk profiles, address gaps, and inform the business of potential impacts.
• Work closely throughout design, construction, and commissioning to integrate tenant fit‑out projects with the base building.
• Implement and oversee quality control processes to meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with design teams to align construction activities with approved plans and specifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers, facilitating clear communication.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in data center or colocation infrastructure.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, quality control, and design coordination.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

50% travel required.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 – $199,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
