Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead onsite execution of a large-scale data center program in DeKalb, IL. You will manage commissioning, turnover, and closeout while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in capital construction, strong MEP knowledge, and an owner's mindset. This 12-month role is 100% onsite with extensions possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years on large-scale capital construction projects, preferably mission-critical or industrial.
• Strong understanding of MEP and connectivity infrastructure systems.
• Experience managing onsite construction execution, schedules, quality, and safety with minimal oversight.
• Experience coordinating across multiple contractors, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in DeKalb, IL.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout for data center projects.
• Own assigned construction scopes across multiple buildings and project phases.
• Provide construction leadership and oversight of GCs, subs, designers, consultants, and vendors.
• Coordinate activities across prime contractors to align with project objectives.
• Oversee MEP and connectivity infrastructure construction activities.
• Support system readiness, testing, and turnover to facilities operations.
• Maintain safety culture and enforce quality standards.
