Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Mid-Atlantic Buildings division to serve as the on-site senior representative, overseeing all administrative and technical project requirements. You will supervise project managers, manage GMP development, procurement, and schedule adherence to ensure safe, quality, and profitable project delivery.

The role emphasizes meeting customer needs, building new business, and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Demonstrates leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop others.
• Manages direct reports and delegates responsibilities effectively.
• Proficient with personal computer use and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project budgets and GMP development.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (PFR/LCR) and cost projections.
• Oversee subcontracting processes including scope, price, and execution.
• Develop construction schedules and resource plans with the team.
• Maintain safety, quality, and client satisfaction throughout the project.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
