Job summary

OpenAI's Compute and Construction teams are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead field execution for large-scale AI data center projects from mobilization through commissioning and handoff.

You will coordinate contractors across electrical, mechanical, structural trades, develop sequencing strategies, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while partnering with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading construction for large-scale facilities with multiple trades.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution from mobilization through commissioning and handoff.
• Serve as senior field leader and primary contact for contractors and partners.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and controls.
