Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Giga Campus Construction Lead to plan, coordinate, and direct construction delivery for campus projects. You will liaise with design managers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and customers to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery in a hybrid model spanning multiple major U.S.

markets. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mission-critical construction or MEP-focused environments, with data center experience preferred and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mission-critical construction or a comparable MEP-focused environment; data center experience preferred.
• Experience working for a general contractor, subcontractor, or equipment vendor preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of construction scheduling, project budgeting, and cost control practices.
• Technical understanding of MEP systems and data center operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred; LEED AP credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale construction efforts including site development and data center deployments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, equipment vendors, and consultants.
• Review project budgets, schedules, and construction documents to ensure quality and alignment with targets.
• Serve as a construction expert when evaluating prospective customer leases and active projects.
• Lead budget and schedule review meetings with internal stakeholders and customer representatives.
