Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Giga Campus Construction Lead to plan, coordinate, and direct construction delivery for campus projects. You will serve as a key liaison across internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This role oversees site development, data center deployments, and customer fit-outs, and requires building strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors while leading budget and schedule

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mission-critical construction or a comparable MEP-focused environment.
• Experience working for a general contractor, subcontractor, or equipment vendor is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale construction, including site development, ground-up builds, data center deployments, and fit-outs.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, equipment vendors, and consultants.
• Review project budgets and schedules to ensure quality and alignment with targets.
• Serve as a construction SME when evaluating prospective leases and active projects.
• Lead budget and schedule review meetings with internal stakeholders and customer reps, reporting risks.
• Direct and coordinate internal design and construction managers as well as third-party partners.
• Develop and manage project budgets and schedules across multiple buildings in varying design/construction phases.
• Monitor active construction work and escalate issues to drive resolution.
• Support permitting and entitlement processes through coordination with consultants and government agencies.
