Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Superintendent for our Charlotte, NC data center team. The successful candidate will lead onsite field personnel, enforce safety plans, and coordinate with owners, designers and subcontractors to ensure efficient project performance.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, preparing status and compliance reports, and ensuring staffing aligns with project phases. Strong communication and a valid driver's license are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction.
• Experience on Data Center projects required.
• Experience as lead superintendent on at least one project.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Advocates safety as number one priority on the jobsite and enforces safety plans.
• Supervises and coordinates management of projects with owner, designers and subcontractors.
• Develops and implements detailed schedules and production plans with budget and safety goals.
• Assists Project Manager in the preparation of project status reports.
• Responsible for daily, progress, and compliance reports and logs.
• Oversees review of plans and drawings and coordinates shop drawings.
• Procures tools and materials to meet the work schedule.
• Determines staffing levels and timing for each project phase.
• Recruits and directs on-site field personnel per HR processes.
• Prepares payroll documentation in line with HR policies.
• Addresses complaints and grievances with HR/Legal assistance.
• Coordinates with engineers, architects, subcontractors and inspectors to improve methods.
