Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Charlotte team, specializing in Data Center construction. The ideal candidate will lead field operations, coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors, and ensure safety and schedule adherence.

You will develop and implement detailed schedules, monitor progress, manage staffing and procurement, and drive quality and compliance across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction.
• Experience on Data Center projects required.
• Experience as lead superintendent on at least one project.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Advocates safety as top priority on the jobsite and enforces safety policies.
• Directs and coordinates management of construction projects with owners, designers and subcontractors.
• Develops schedules and production plans with budget and safety goals.
• Assists Project Manager in the preparation of project status reports.
• Keeps daily, progress, compliance reports and logs.
• Reviews plans and drawings and coordinates shop drawings.
• Procures tools and materials needed for the project to meet the schedule.
• Determines staffing levels and timing considering methods and equipment availability.
• Recruits, hires and directs onsite field personnel in line with HR processes.
• Prepares payroll documentation and HR compliance paperwork.
• Resolves complaints and grievances with HR/Legal assistance.
• Collaborates with engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors and vendors to improve methods.
• Ensures schedules are adhered to by managing staffing and procurement.
• supervises and coordinates subcontractors for contract compliance.
• Follows and enforces company policies and coordinates regulatory inspection.
