Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead a data center project in Baton Rouge, LA. You will oversee pre-construction and construction, review contractor performance, and ensure schedule, safety and quality while coordinating with Owners and Jacobs management.

The role requires 12+ years on large building or civil projects, a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, and experience with data centers, NFPA70E, BIM, Lean, and commissioning planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or practical work experience.
• 12+ years of experience on large building or civil projects, with data center experience a plus.
• Knowledge of NFPA70E, commissioning planning and construction scheduling (critical path).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction and construction process to review contractor performance against schedule and quality.
• Manage daily progress, meetings and reporting to Owners and Jacobs management.
• Coordinate safety, schedule, cost, and change management across multiple contractors and vendors.
