Job summary

Clayco seeks a Senior Commissioning Technician to support on-site commissioning on construction projects. You will assist the Commissioning Manager with testing, schedules, and start-ups across nationwide projects.

The role requires 3–7 years of commissioning experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, and travel will be required. It’s a safety-sensitive position with background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of commissioning experience.
• Data Center Commissioning experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review commissioning plans and documentation, including testing schedules.
• Assist in completing daily commissioning activities on project site.
• Coordinate with Operations Team and Project Management team on schedule, budget, training, and issues that arise.
• Review and assist with any equipment and material deliveries with vendors and subcontractors.
• Perform pre-commissioning and start-up inspections to confirm project is ready for commissioning activities.
• Help create and schedule updates and reports on any commissioning issues in a timely manner to all necessary parties.
• Prepare for transition to client after final inspections and commissioning processes are complete.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
