Job summary

Pkaza LLC is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager for Data Centers in Elk Grove Village, IL to lead regional CxA projects with a team of engineers and PMs. You will direct design reviews, testing, and commissioning activities, manage budgets and client expectations, and ensure adherence to CXA standards across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in electrical/mechanical commissioning for data centers, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel 25–50%.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience managing Data Centers / Critical Facilities Projects with an A/E, MEP or CxA company.
• 5 to 10 or more years of experience in the Electrical / Mechanical Commissioning Field.
• Experience with Level 1-5 commissioning.
• P.E. license / LEED accreditation a plus
• PMP certification a plus
• Project management experience in the Consulting Engineering Industry
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills
• Must be open to 25-50% Travel

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple CxA projects in the region as a Program Manager with a team of engineers and PMs.
• Lead project delivery across design, quality control, staffing and budgeting.
• Interface with clients to define requirements and manage expectations.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Prepare reports and financial forecasts; monitor expenses.
• Ensure CXA standards, SOPs, MOPs, and comprehensive documentation.
• Travel 25-50% as needed.
