Job summary

IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider delivering large‑scale data centers and GPU clusters across North America, Europe and APAC. The Commissioning Project Manager owns commissioning for an IREN campus from contract input through Level 5 testing, turning over to Operations, and leads the on‑site commissioning crew through Level 3 to Level 5.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 7+ years in data center/mission-critical commissioning with multiple Level 1–5 deliveries.
• Experience managing a third‑party Commissioning Authority (CxA) as vendor.
• Knowledge of medium‑voltage distribution, UPS, generators, chilled‑water/liquid cooling and BMS/EPMS integration.
• Leadership of on‑site teams and readiness gates; ability to coordinate with Construction, Operations and customer teams.
• Ownership of commissioning scope: schedule, budget, change control and vendor contracts.
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E awareness.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage the Division 1 MEP commissioning specifications and CxA RFPs.
• Own the CxA contract and performance: scope, staffing, scorecards and reports.
• Be on site from project start and mobilize teams before energization.
• Lead the campus commissioning team and cadence across levels 3–5.
• Manage commissioning schedule and budget; coordinate with Construction, Ops and vendors.
• Hold Level gate readiness reviews and document control.
• Coordinate factory witness testing, SAT and vendor start‑up.
• Ensure safety and lockout/tagout compliance during all commissioning work.
• Prepare Level 5 acceptance packages for Director signature.
