Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Lead Principle Commissioning Engineer in the Dallas, TX area to head multi-disciplinary data center commissioning efforts, from design review through IST readiness and turnover to operations.

The role demands extensive experience in mechanical, electrical or controls engineering with a commissioning focus, working with delivery and collocation partners to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient data centers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data center commissioning projects with IST readiness.
• Experience interfacing with data center partners for commissioning.
• Willingness to travel up to two weeks per month and relocate to Dallas area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning of multiple lease provider projects, ensuring quality and performance.
• Provide engineering leadership and guidance to meet project expectations.
• Apply expert knowledge of engineering systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with Oracle procedures.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and colocation teams for robust operations.
• Mentor junior members and develop training programs.
• Contribute to contract administration including changes and cost forecasts.
• Lead Oracle interactions for successful commissioning of electrical, control and mechanical systems.
