Job summary

Oracle seeks a Lead Principle Commissioning Engineer to manage multi-disciplinary data center commissioning from design through IST and turnover to operations in the Dallas area. You will interface with data center partners and Oracle delivery teams to assure commissioning quality and reliable handover.

The role requires extensive experience in technical commissioning, engineering systems, and industry standards.

Qualifications

Senior commissioning lead with focus on all levels of commissioning activities up to IST.
Experience reviewing design and delivering mission critical facilities.

Responsibilities

Oversight of the commissioning of multiple lease provider projects.
Expert operating knowledge of engineering systems and safe working practices.
Interacts with other engineering disciplines and colocation providers to ensure robust operations.
Mentors junior team members and shares knowledge across the group.
Contributes to contract administration including change orders and cost forecasts.
Leads interactions with data center partners for commissioning of electrical, control and mechanical systems.
Reviews commissioning testing procedures to verify equipment and systems function as designed.
Travels up to two weeks per month and resides in or moves to Dallas, TX area.
