Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead commissioning of mechanical systems in mission-critical environments, with emphasis on data centers. You will review designs, create plans, and execute field activities from design through occupancy.

Applicants should have 5+ years in commissioning or related mechanical/controls work, be prepared to travel 50–75% nationwide, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience in mission-critical facility commissioning essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide 50–75% and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Commission mechanical, plumbing & fire protection systems in data center environments.
• Review designs for client facility goals and prepare execution plans.
• Conduct commissioning activities from design phase through occupation.
• Lead commissioning meetings and coordinate field activities with the project team.
• Prepare and document daily commissioning reports and test procedures.
• Train and guide Associate Project Engineers and Project Engineers.
