Job summary

Veolia NA seeks a Senior Project Engineer to plan and execute commissioning of mechanical systems in data center environments. You will review designs, develop test plans, and lead field activities with project teams, ensuring client requirements and industry best practices are met.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mission-critical commissioning or 7+ years on related projects, with PE certification or commissioning credentials as a plus. Travel nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years on mission critical projects or equivalent mechanical/controls experience.
• Or a minimum of 7+ years commissioning experience on mission critical projects.
• Experience in mission critical facility commissioning is essential.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to guide junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Commission mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems in data center environments.
• Review designs for client goals and compliance.
• Prepare execution plans and commissioning procedures.
• Lead commissioning activities from design through occupancy phases.
• Attend factory testing and document results; perform functional testing.
• Draft test procedures and generate technical reports; coordinate with PM and teams.
