Job summary
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Architect to design and implement architectural systems for data centers, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, civil, and other disciplines.
The role includes leading projects, driving standardization, and producing clear technical documentation. You will support continuous improvement through data analysis, manage multiple projects globally, and mentor the data center engineering community while ensuring designs meet quality and budget
Qualifications
- 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.
- 4+ years in industrial or commercial engineering for mission-critical facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience with CAD/BIM tools and investigating new designs and construction methods.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement architectural systems for data centers across disciplines.
- Lead projects with wide impact and provide clear documentation.
- Drive standardization in data center architectural space.
- Analyze data to support continuous improvement and optimization.
- Produce design specifications, white papers, and diagrams.
