Job summary

KeyBank in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a Senior Data & Business Intelligence Associate to source, prepare, validate, and analyze data for Corporate Information Security, Physical Security, Fraud, and other ESS stakeholders. You will produce production reports, dashboards, and analytical datasets to support business decisions.

You will use Python, SQL, Google Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to turn data into insights, lead stakeholder conversations, mentor junior analysts, and ensure production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or its equivalent) in Data Analytics, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or Statistics (or related field) with 6 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong Python or similar programming languages experience.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with BI tools: Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience implementing process automation.
• Ability to access, interpret, and validate data from enterprise data sources.
• Capable of working independently and owning output end-to-end.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Proven relationship building ability.
• Collaborate and lead conversations with business and technology partners to identify and understand analytic/business needs and gather requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analyses and reports using large datasets with Python, SQL, Google Cloud, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Translate data into BI insights, reports, and analyses to support decision-making.
• Identify business needs and determine information to obtain.
• Automate, standardize, and maintain recurring reports and dashboards.
• Communicate key points to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Document solutions and create procedures for testing and production continuity.
• Review junior staff work and provide input and mentorship.
