Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years of related professional experience.
• Comfortable working in-person as needed.
• Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, enhancing, or supporting data, application, analytics, or automation solutions.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, including queries, data structures, integrations, performance, and data quality.
• Development or scripting experience using Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, R, or a comparable language.
• Experience with data-extraction, transformation, loading, ingestion, integration, and validation processes.
• Experience developing or maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience maintaining or enhancing applications, scripts, workflows, codebases, data pipelines, integrations, or scheduled processes.
• Experience with source control, testing, documentation, release practices, and issue tracking.
• Ability to own features/technical workstreams independently.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Flexibility to work with nationally distributed teams.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and support data platforms, databases, applications, codebases, integrations, analytics products, and business-process automations.
• Own defined features or technical workstreams and coordinate their delivery from requirements through development, testing, release, and ongoing support.
• Translate requirements into solution components, development tasks, acceptance criteria, and testable outcomes.
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate; integrate with related systems.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytics products using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable technologies.
• Design, develop, and support data-ingestion, extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and integration processes.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, scripts, APIs, and automations.
• Develop or modify integrations among databases, applications, cloud services, Microsoft 365 technologies, and external systems.
• Apply development, testing, documentation, release, security, and change-management practices.
• Review code, queries, configurations, automation logic, data models, test results, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, failed jobs, data-quality issues, and performance concerns.
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Support releases, platform changes, data migrations, and app upgrades.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce defects; balance development with maintenance and production needs.
• Guide Staff professionals in completing technical tasks and resolving issues.
• Coordinate with developers, data engineers, analysts, and engagement-team professionals.
• Participate in client discussions to clarify requirements and communicate progress.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.
