Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect to support a federal client in Oak Ridge, TN. You will lead workshops with engineers and stakeholders to define metrics and data sources, and design a complete data flow from ETL pipelines to dashboards using Power BI/Tableau.

You will implement data modeling, ELT optimization, and security controls, while evaluating BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Dynatrace) for enterprise use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing end-to-end data flows and BI architectures.
• Proven ability to translate business goals into KPIs and visual strategies.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder workshops to identify metrics, data sources, and dashboard outcomes.
• Design end-to-end data flow from source to visualization layer (Power BI/Tableau).
• Develop and optimize ELT processes and SQL for performance.
• Build, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards tracking system health.
• Implement data access controls and row-level security.
• Evaluate BI tools and recommend best-fit solutions for the environment.
