Job summary

Strattec Security Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner-turned-Data Architect to drive our enterprise data initiatives from Milwaukee. The role focuses on data architecture, pipelines, and governance, partnering with IT and operations to optimize analytics and reporting across ERP and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum eight years of data architecture and analytics experience.
• Three+ years in leading technical teams and cross-functional programs.
• Strong cloud data ecosystem knowledge, especially Azure services.
• Experience with ERP integrations and enterprise data platforms.
• Proficient in APIs, EDI, data movement, and ETL/ELT.
• Hands-on with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate; familiar with Databricks/Spark.
• Knowledge of SDLC, documentation, monitoring, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise data architecture roadmap across Azure and data platforms.
• Design and optimize data pipelines, data warehouses, and semantic layers.
• Connect ERP systems with apps via APIs, EDI, and event-driven integrations.
• Lead automation initiatives using Power Platform tools and Copilot Studio.
• Establish data governance, security, and lifecycle policies across systems.
• Monitor performance, data retention, audits, and issue resolution.
• Mentor internal teams and coordinate with partners/vendors for project success.
• Deliver integrated data, reporting, and automation to improve business outcomes.
