Job summary

Texas Children's Health Plan is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to serve as a Data Architect, leading data quality initiatives and shaping data governance across systems.

The ideal candidate will design technical specifications, supervise data warehouses, and drive best practices in Azure-based architectures, including Synapse and Azure SQL, with 8+ years of experience in major system design and implementation.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED in computer science or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in major system design and implementation.
• Experience in implementing Data Warehouses.
• Some managed care systems experience preferred.
• A bachelor's degree will substitute for 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and modify technical specifications for the Health Plan.
• Coordinate the design and analysis of new system implementations and modifications to existing systems.
• Analyze and conduct the design and modification of Integrated Delivery System systems.
• Determine computerized solutions that ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and our strategic plan.
• Appraise the effectiveness of systems flow, data usage, and both manual and automated processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Implement and control system configuration and development.
• Administer program and system tests.
• Develop comprehensive system-documentation.
• Coordinate activities and share information with managers, Information Services personnel, users, and vendors.
• Participate in strategic planning and TCH-wide data planning.
