Job summary

Evalueserve is seeking a Senior Data Architect with deep expertise in Databricks Lakehouse, GCP, and modern data platforms to define enterprise data strategy and lead modernization projects across clients. Qualifications

• 15-20 years of overall experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Big Data, or Cloud Data Platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark or Scala, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, and Databricks SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataplex, Vertex AI, Gemini, IAM, networking, security, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive enterprise-scale data architecture using Databricks Lakehouse, Spark, Delta Lake, and cloud-native data platforms.
• Lead data platform modernization from Hadoop/Data Warehouse to Lakehouse and cloud architecture.
• Define architecture standards for data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data modeling, governance, security, and performance.
• Build pipelines for batch, near real-time, and streaming data using Spark, Kafka/Event Hubs/Kinesis, and orchestration tools.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions with cross‑functional teams.
• Guide teams on data quality, metadata management, lineage, cost optimization, observability, CI/CD, and production support.
• Provide technical leadership, review designs, and support pre‑sales or stakeholder discussions for GCP engagements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on data strategy and analytics solutions on Google Cloud.
• Design scalable, secure GCP architectures using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI.
• Lead GCP migration and modernization initiatives including data warehouses, data lakes, and governance.
