U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Data Architect / Data Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise-scale data platforms powering analytics, AI/ML, fraud detection, and regulatory reporting.

You will lead data pipelines, data models, and governance efforts while guiding cloud migration initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions with hands-on engineering and strong collaboration across architects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with data warehouses and lakehouse architectures.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time streaming.
• Cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and data platform modernization.
• Experience with data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
• Prior work with Actimize platforms (SAM/CCD/UDM) or Fraud/Regulatory domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and modernize enterprise-scale data platforms and lakehouse architectures.
• Develop scalable batch, streaming, and event-driven data pipelines.
• Implement ETL/ELT frameworks with cloud-native big data tech.
• Create data models, metadata frameworks, and data quality controls.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders.
