U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Data Architect / Data Engineer to design and build enterprise-scale data platforms powering analytics, AI/ML, fraud detection, and regulatory reporting. This role will lead data pipelines, governance, and modernization initiatives across cloud environments.

We are looking for hands-on engineers who can deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions while collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale data platforms, lakehouse architectures, and data warehouse solutions.
• Build and maintain high-performance batch, streaming, and event-driven data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT frameworks using modern cloud-native and big data technologies.
• Create scalable data models, metadata frameworks, data lineage, and data quality controls.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for secure data platform transformation.
• Partner with architects, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver reusable data products.
• Conduct design reviews and mentor team on data engineering best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, performance, resiliency, and operational standards.
