Job summary

Trinity Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to own end‑to‑end data product architecture, working with domain experts to transform unstructured data into enterprise‑quality data products. This hands‑on role combines design and build responsibilities, including AI-assisted extraction pipelines and data provenance strategies.

You will lead architecture decisions for complex data systems, leverage PySpark, Python, and cloud platforms, and collaborate with data scientists

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering and data architecture experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Equivalent practical experience will be considered for strong candidates
• Depth in data modeling, grain/keys/entity resolution, provenance, and schema evolution
• Strong SQL and relational/data warehouse expertise with performance optimization
• Strong Python for production data pipelines with orchestration, versioning, testing, and observability
• Experience normalizing messy semi-structured and unstructured sources into stable schemas
• Ability to leverage AI coding assistants to boost productivity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into data product architecture with domain experts
• Own architecture for Trinity data products: tooling, schemas, grain and key design, provenance
• Design and build robust normalization pipelines for heterogeneous text sources
• Build multi-stage pipelines combining parsing, AI-assisted extraction, and human review
• Optionally design internal interfaces for analysts to review and modify outputs
