Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Principal Data Architect to design and govern the enterprise data architecture that underpins analytics, AI/ML, and strategic objectives. You will create reusable patterns, canonical models, and reference implementations across cloud platforms.

Partner with executives and cross‑functional teams to modernize the data ecosystem (lakehouse, data mesh, streaming), ensure data quality and security, and mentor architects and engineers to raise architecture practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define current-to-target data architectures with milestones and risk mitigation.
• Own conceptual, logical, and physical data models across enterprise domains.
• Partner with data engineering to implement data models on cloud platforms.
• Define modeling patterns and enforce consistency.
• Ensure data lineage, metadata, and data contracts for governance.
