Job summary

Hitachi is seeking a Senior Data Architect / Enterprise Data Architect to design and modernize enterprise-scale data platforms. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, solution architects, data engineers, and AI/ML teams to establish scalable cloud-based data ecosystems.

You will lead architecture and implementation across ETL/ELT, data lakes, lakehouse, and data warehouses, ensuring secure, high-performance platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of data architecture/engineering/enterprise data platform experience.
• 5+ years leading data engineering initiatives and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Experience owning enterprise data architecture, not just pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture across conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Architect cloud data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions.
• Lead ETL/ELT, batch, streaming, and real-time data integration implementations.
• Design data solutions for BI, analytics, AI/ML, and reporting initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
