RegEd is seeking a Data Architect to own the design and evolution of its cloud-native data platform used by 200+ clients in a multi-tenant SaaS environment. You will lead the architecture of a metadata-driven data integration stack built on Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2, and Unity Catalog, enabling flexible data ingestion and governance across the estate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years of data science and development experience.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and evolution of RegEd's cloud-native data platform serving 200+ clients in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Lead the architecture of a metadata-driven data integration platform built on Databricks, ADLS Gen2, and Unity Catalog.
• Collaborate with data engineering, platform engineering, and product teams to design and deliver features; translate requirements into durable architectures.
• Own Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipeline architecture; drive data governance models including Unity Catalog and Purview.
• Review client documents to ensure they meet development requirements; collaborate to identify business needs and strategies.
