Job summary

Rocketdyne in Jupiter, FL seeks a Lead Data Architect and Engineer to design data warehouses, pipelines, and dashboards using Snowflake, Power BI, SQL, and Python. You’ll lead projects, mentor team members, and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to turn requirements into reliable solutions.

You will ensure data quality, security, and governance while delivering actionable insights that influence leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 7 years; or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• At least 3 years of experience with relational databases or enterprise systems such as Oracle or Deltek Costpoint.
• At least 3 years of experience with Power BI, Qlik, or similar visualization tools.
• At least 2 years of experience with ETL/ELT, data storage, and data modeling using enterprise integration tools and/or Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience supporting enterprise data warehouses.
• Knowledge of data security, role-based access control, and data governance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data warehouses, pipelines, and data models.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Extract, transform, validate, and analyze data to deliver actionable insights.
• Establish data quality, security, access control, and governance practices.
• Lead analytics projects and coordinate with business, IT, and data engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and reporting.
• Support self-service analytics and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Mentor team members and communicate findings to executives and stakeholders.
