Job summary

Massive Rocket is seeking a senior Data Architect to transform client requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions. You will lead discovery, design end‑to‑end architectures, and align customer data with marketing technology.

You’ll guide engineering teams, establish data governance, and shape roadmaps across brands and markets. This role demands leadership, deep technical expertise, and a client‑facing mindset in an agency setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Solution Architecture, including at least 5 years in technical leadership.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Databricks with customer data platforms.
• Experience integrating cloud data warehouses with MarTech, CRM, and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of identity resolution, customer profiles, and linking activity across sources.
• Extensive experience in data modeling, pipeline architecture, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with CI/CD and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery workshops to assess data platforms and business requirements.
• Design scalable data architectures integrating Snowflake, Databricks, mParticle, Hightouch, Braze, and MarTech tools.
• Define data models, governance, and data quality standards across brands and markets.
• Develop roadmaps, scope phases, estimate effort, and secure client approval.
• Evaluate technologies to meet performance, business, and commercial goals.
• Guide Data Engineering teams in building and optimizing data pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers, conduct reviews, and drive continuous delivery improvements.
• Support proposals, pitches, and strategic initiatives while expanding engagements.
