What You'll Do

• Design enterprise-scale data architectures that enhance security, reliability, and operational efficiency for VA systems.
• Lead data modernization initiatives for critical systems.
• Develop metadata strategies and implement robust data governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with VA standards and federal compliance requirements.
• Enable advanced analytics and compliance reporting capabilities that drive better outcomes for veterans.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

• U.S. Citizenship (required for security clearance)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of data architecture and enterprise data modeling experience
• Experience with AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, and cloud data warehousing
• Ability to work on-site in Tysons Corner, VA (5 days/week)

Bonus Points:

• Federal healthcare or claims systems experience
• VA-specific systems knowledge
• ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar data modeling tools
• FHIR, HIPAA, CCPA compliance experience
