Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead adoption of data and AI/ML architectures across the organization, aligning with business architectures and data governance. You will influence standards for modern data platforms, embed quality and metadata controls, and steward architecture across multiple lines of business in a regulated setting.

You will report to CIO-aligned leaders and provide executive-ready guidance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise data or systems architecture across data, application, and infrastructure domains.
• Expertise in modern data platforms and AI/ML architecture, including responsible-AI considerations.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and control frameworks in a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate technical strategy in executive-ready terms.
• Experience partnering with CIO / Global Technology and supporting multiple lines of business or control functions.
• Preferred: Financial services or regulated-industry experience.
• Preferred: Familiarity with AI governance and model-risk frameworks.

Job description

• Influence adoption of enterprise architecture across application, data, infrastructure, and AI/ML domains
• Ensure integration with business architectures and data governance
• Influence adoption of standards, patterns, and reference models for modern data platforms
• Embed data quality, lineage, metadata, and control evidence into architecture
• Align architecture strategy across five lines of business and corresponding CIO / Global Technology leaders
• Provide thought leadership and influence across a complex, matrixed organization
• Drive direction and consensus without direct authority
• Deliver executive briefings and roadmaps
• Provide input on enterprise policy, standards, and technology adoption
• Steward enterprise data and AI architecture within LOB-owned data domains

Requirements

• Extensive experience in enterprise data or systems architecture across data, application, and infrastructure domains
