Job summary

Sun Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Data and Applications Engineer to lead design, development, and support of enterprise technology solutions at Granite Valley Office in Sun City West. You will drive data integrations, BI analytics, and enterprise applications like Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.

The role focuses on REST API integrations, automation, AI/ML-enabled solutions, and mentoring teammates while partnering with leaders to optimize operations and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering, enterprise applications, systems integration, business intelligence, automation, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting enterprise data integrations, reporting solutions, and business applications, including administering or configuring enterprise applications and automated workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, or comparable technologies.
• Preferred: experience integrating ERP, CRM, HRIS, fundraising, EHR, or similar enterprise systems, and experience within healthcare, nonprofit, or senior living organizations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise technology solutions across a broad range of platforms and technologies.
• Designing enterprise data integrations and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Building Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
• Administering and enhancing enterprise applications such as Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
• Developing REST API integrations and automation solutions.
• Working directly with business leaders to understand challenges and design practical technology solutions.
• Designing intelligent automation and AI- and machine learning-enabled solutions that improve outcomes and enable new capabilities.
• Mentoring teammates and helping establish technical best practices.
