Granite Construction seeks an AI Applications & Data Analytics Lead to design and scale AI-enabled applications across plant operations and sales. You will bridge field operations and technology, turning data into actionable intelligence and deploying AI-driven workflows to improve decision-making and productivity.

The role combines hands-on development with business leadership, owning AI use cases from discovery to deployment in plants, sales, and support functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in AI, CS, data science, math, or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted.
• Minimum 2 years in software development, data analytics, AI or ML implementation.
• Experience delivering production-ready apps and software in operational/industrial environments.
• Strong data analytics skills and familiarity with databases and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled applications for aggregate and asphalt operations and sales.
• Develop ML and analytics models to optimize production, pricing, uptime, and cost.
• Integrate AI solutions with plant systems, sensors, and databases.
• Build data pipelines, APIs, and services for real-time insights.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, quality, maintenance, and IT teams.
• Document models and processes for long-term sustainability.
