Job summary

EY is seeking a Data, Application & Automation Delivery Senior for the Government & Public Sector Practice in the US. You will own features across data platforms, databases, and automation, delivering reliable solutions from design to deployment.

You will work with EY teams and client stakeholders to build dashboards, APIs, and data integrations, applying best practices in security, testing, and documentation. Hybrid in-person role with client engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years of related professional experience.
• Experience with SQL and relational database concepts, including queries and data quality.
• Development or scripting experience using Python, JavaScript, or Power Platform.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, loading, ingestion, and validation processes.
• Experience developing or maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions and BI tooling.
• Excellent English-language skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support data platforms, databases, applications, codebases, integrations, analytics products, and automations
• Own defined features or technical workstreams and coordinate their delivery through development, testing, and release
• Translate requirements into solution components, tasks, acceptance criteria, and testable outcomes
• Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) and related integrations
• Enhance dashboards, reports, semantic models using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents
• Design, develop, and support data-ingestion, transformation, loading, validation, and integration processes
• Write and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and data transformations
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, scripts, APIs, and automated workflows
• Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate progress
• Create technical documentation, including data flows and release notes
