Job summary

Sun Health in Sun City West, AZ, is seeking a Senior Data and Applications Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise technology solutions across data engineering, business applications, systems integration, automation, analytics, AI and machine learning.

You will partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where technology can improve operations, enable new services for residents and donors, and help shape Sun Health's data strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, data analytics, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering, enterprise applications, systems integration, business intelligence, automation, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting enterprise data integrations, reporting solutions, and business applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, or comparable technologies.
• Preferred: experience integrating ERP, CRM, HRIS, fundraising, EHR, or similar enterprise systems, and experience in healthcare/nonprofit/senior living.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise technology solutions across data engineering, business applications, systems integration, automation, analytics, AI, and ML.
• Design enterprise data integrations and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Build Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
• Administer and enhance enterprise applications such as Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
• Develop REST API integrations and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities where technology can improve operations.
• Mentor teammates and help establish technical best practices.
